1 Star Failed to charge after 4 uses
I bought the F8Z122 to hook up my I-Pod nano 4th generation to my sound system and it quit charging after the 4th use. The blue light went from ON to steady blinking and perhaps the clue that unit went inoperative. Another poorly made chinese device. Belkins requires that customer pays for returning defective unit to them, Keep that in mind if you want to stick with this brand.
4 Stars good enough
It’s value for money. The dock’s weight it’s heavy enough to give you stability BUT the interaction with the ipod it’s not very ergonomic.

This product works great! I am very satisfied with the sound quality. I connected it to my compact bookshelf system, and the sounds is just as good as a CD. Highly recommended.
1 Star What a piece of junk!
Wow, I know quality standards aren’t what they used to be, but come on! I was able to use this charger for about 2 hours before the contacts failed. The device is supposed to have a clever folding prong design, like many of Apple’s products, that prevents the prongs from being a nuisance. The only problem is the plastic used in the construction is so cheap that any excess pressure (a snug outlet, pressing a bit too hard at the wrong angle, perhaps even looking at it wrong but I wasn’t able to confirm this one) has the very real possibility of pressing the electrical contacts in the adapter too far back for them to contact the prongs. Result — a quick visit to Amazon’s return page to print my packing label. I have used other Belkin products in the past and have never experienced such poor materials or design. This definitely has the potential to place Belkin squarely nearly the top of my “No Buy” list. Save yourself the headache and simple order a dedicated dock / radio or if you just need a portable wall charge, get the Apple version.
