Important Product Information
When you insert a CD into the IBCD2817, the CD player will spin the CD to read and gather the CD track total. The track total is then displayed to let you know how many songs are on the CD. You must then push the “Play” button to listen to the CD.

1 Star As long as you don’t it to work, great product.
We are on our second one (we returned the first one), and more problems with this one than the first. I wanted this for its portability and ability to use the iPod dock. I found within ten (10) minutes, that the first point was good, the second was completely amiss. The iPod would play for about 3-4 minutes and then pause itself. I tried using the different adapters thinking that would make a difference, but no luck. This occurred with both of the units we’ve had. Second, if you want to use the digital radio tuner (AM or FM)… it will let you get close to the exact station, but it is a challenge (a game almost) to get exactly on the number. Additionally, the sound quality on radio has much to be desired… of course that could be because the actual station is not tuned in because the digital tuner moves up / down the dial on its own.
Overall, big disappointment… would not recommend this to ANYONE.

I bought this player to listen to the radio/ipod/cd player for the kitchen.
The sound quality for the fm radio has lot of static. You can’t really listen to the radio! The cd player DOES NOT have anti-skip technology; therefore, it jumps every 10 seconds of music (specially if the volume is all the way up – I guess the sound vibrations makes it skip). My only hope is that the Ipod connection works (I haven’t tested it yet but I do hope that it works ’cause if it isn’t it goes to the garbage). Unfortunately, I threw out the box where the radio came in so I can’t return the product to Amazon.
Avoid this product like the plague unless you want to waste your money like I did.

1 Star Proof you get what you pay for…
This item is just fine…if you only want to use it with batteries, or are not at all particular about sound quality. The CD player is a vertical style, which has a tendency to skip and drag with any slight touch of the unit while it is playing. The ipod player is adequate, but the design makes it hard to access the ipod buttons/controls while it is in the cradle. My biggest complaint of this item is that the power cord keeps just “dropping out” of the place where it plugs in to the unit! The plug is completely loose, and it is impossible to get a tight connection, so you can’t anchor the plug into the unit! If you move the unit AT ALL while it is plugged in, the power cord simply just drops out! They have placed this attachment at the bottom left corner of the unit, almost so that it automatically slides out due to the very angle of the attachment.
I purchased this as a gift for my husband to use while outside. It’s too bad that by the time he opened the present, I had already thrown away the box and packing slip, because I would have sent it back! Cheap design at a cheap price.

Was my brother`s present and bad choise…Bad sound , poor options , unless low price i too much when you have the product , you feels have been cheated! DO NOT BUY!!Seems baby dolls items..

the box is right size for me to take along and have my own music when needed. The first day it played well for the first hour. Then the ipod music stopped. Once I got it going again, then I kept getting static with the ipod and then with the radio stations. On the radio mode, the station would jump. The dial was very loose. So, I exchanged it for another one thinking I just got a lemon. I just received the second one today. So far, it hasn’t shut off but the static sound is still there. The radio dial is tighter. If I had read the reviews before the first purchase I would have looked for something else. Also it is not easy to get my ipod out of the docking station. They should have made the handle more flexible. I’m going to try this replacement one for a week and see if I can deal with it. Because of the price, I may keep it just for outings. If not it goes back and I will research before I buy again. But amazon was good with the first return and the quick response to sending the replacement out. Next day.
